Topeka Habitat for Humanity Ride Revs Up August 2nd, 2008
Topeka - Motorcycle enthusiasts, Get Ready to Ride! The Topeka Habitat for Humanity is revving up for the Third Annual Habitat for Humanity Ride Saturday, August 2nd, 2008. Presented by Federal Home Loan Bank and Capitol Federal Savings, the bike ride's goal is to raise money to build safe and affordable homes for Topeka families in need.
Registration, coffee and pastries begin at 9:30am. Riders will leave from the Topeka Harley-Davidson dealership at 21st and Topeka Blvd (lower parking lot) at 11:00am. The group will travel to the Lawrence Harley Davidson dealership, have lunch and then travel back to Topeka. An estimated 50 to 75 bikers are expected to take part in this year's event.
Requested donation: Singles $15.00; Doubles $25.00.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit Christian housing organization that partners with people to build decent, affordable housing.
