Through our secure website you can make a one-time gift, or set your donation to recur monthly. Every donation makes a difference. Just click the donate button!

Donate by mail.

You can mail your donation by check to us directly at Topeka Habitat for Humanity, 121 NE Gordon, Topeka, KS 66608.

Donate by phone.

We gladly accept donations by credit card over the phone. Please call us at (785) 234-4322 to donate by phone.

Donate in honor of someone, or in memorium.

Honor your family, friends, and loved ones by making a “Gift from the Heart” donation to Topeka Habitat for Humanity.

Your tax-deductible gift will help families build strength and stability in their own lives. This kind of gift is priceless to families in need of decent homes and will continue to have a positive impact in their lives for years to come.

When you make a  Topeka Habitat for Humanity "Gift from the Heart" donation, your loved one will receive a beautiful card sent by email or by postal mail letting them know about the gift in their name.

There are many special occasions where a Gift from the Heart makes for the perfect gift:

You can also personalize the card that is sent with the recipient's name and for different occasions.

Estate planning and planned giving.

Consider leaving a lasting legacy to families in need who want to improve the lives of their family and children, by including Topeka Habitat for Humanity in your estate plans.  You can continue your support in your will by giving:

  • Bequest in your will or revocable trust

  • Gift of life insurance naming Topeka Habitat for Humanity as the beneficiary

  • Gift of retirement benefits such as an IRA, 401K or 403(b)

  • Charitable gift annuity

  • Charitable remainder trust

You may find that you can make a larger gift than you ever thought possible by giving the remainder of your retirement account, pension plan, or other retirement planning vehicle.  This allows you to provide for your family first, then your charitable interests.

Many people have life insurance policies that they originally took out to protect mortgages that have since been paid or educational plans that have been completed.  These policies would make great charitable gifts.  Alternatively, you may decide to give a large gift by purchasing a new insurance policy. If you name Topeka Habitat for Humanity as the irrevocable owner and beneficiary, the premiums are tax deductible (to the extent allowed by law).

Donate property.

Donating a home or land parcel helps Topeka Habitat with the first step in the building process! Making a gift of real estate provides you with tax-benefits while making a significant positive impact for local families. Gifts of real estate include undeveloped land and residential property. Topeka Habitat seeks land large enough to build at least a single family home. Larger lots have the potential for building multiple housing units, giving us the ability to help more than one family per build. Gifts-in-kind.

When organizations donate goods or services, those donations are considered gifts-in-kind. In-kind donations of all sorts help us further our work, and bring opportunity and resources to families in need of a decent place to call home. We accept in-kind gifts of printing and postage services, catering services, venues for special events, repair, maintenance, and fueling of official Habitat vehicles, advertising and promotion, and more. We have become experts in creativity and enjoy working with companies that want to donate building materials for home construction or overstock items for resale, so please do not hesitate to contact us about your desired donation.

Shopping rewards.

Topeka Habitat for Humanity can get credit for every purchase you make using your registered Dillons Plus Card through the Dillons Community Rewards program, and when you shop online at AmazonSmile. 

Cars for Homes.

Want to get rid of that old clunker? Donate your car to Cars for Homes and earn a tax-deduction. Be sure to specify Topeka Habitat when making your donation.

Donate materials to ReStore.
